The Vermont Department of Mental Health and the Vermont Department of Health want to hear from the public about Heath Care & Rehabilitation Services of Southeastern Vermont (HCRS). HCRS is applying to keep providing mental health services and to become a Certified Community Based Integrated Health Center (CCBHC).

You can share your thoughts from July 13 to July 26, 2025. The departments want feedback from people who have used HCRS services, their families, and others in the community.

They are interested in:

  1. What does HCRS do well?
  2. Does HCRS cooperate well with other local organizations?
  3. Do people get the mental health and substance use help they need?
  4. Are services provided when people need them?
  5. Has anyone felt treated unfairly by HCRS?
  6. Do you have ideas for how HCRS can improve?

CCBHCs aim to provide complete mental health care to anyone who needs it, no matter their ability to pay or where they live. Your feedback will help decide if HCRS can continue its work and become a CCBHC.
