HCRS is proud to host our 18th Annual Golf Tournament & Silent Auction at Brattleboro Country Club, blending friendly competition with a powerful purpose: supporting our Housing Contingency Fund to help people across southeastern Vermont stay safely housed.
Why It Matters
This event isn’t just about golf.
It’s about the families facing eviction.
The parents choosing between rent and food.
The neighbors living out of their car because there’s nowhere else to go.
Every dollar raised from this tournament goes directly into our Housing Contingency Fund—a flexible resource that provides clients with emergency help for things like security deposits, utility bills, or car repairs so someone can get to work. In a state with one of the highest homelessness rates per capita, these rapid-response funds can be life-changing.
“This tournament is about community stepping up,” says HCRS CEO George Karabakakis, Ph.D. “It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in helping our neighbors stay safe, warm, and housed.”
