2024 Golf Tournament & Silent Auction: A Heartfelt Thank You
The HCRS 2024 Golf Tournament Fundraiser, benefiting the unhoused, took place at the stunning Brattleboro Country Club on Friday, June 28, 2024. We are immensely grateful for the incredible support we received for this vital cause. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and donated, helping our team make a significant difference in the community. Your generosity towards our Housing Contingency Fund ensures that unhoused clients receive shelter and essential services, ensuring no one is left out in the cold.
A New Course for Our Fundraiser’s Benefit
This year, HCRS’ annual golf fundraiser took a new swing, directing your generous contributions towards aiding the unhoused. This shift highlights our commitment to addressing the urgent needs of those without stable housing. It’s not just a change in direction for the fundraiser but a strategic move to create a meaningful impact on the lives of those who often go unnoticed. By focusing resources on supporting the unhoused, HCRS is driving change in our community and tackling an issue that affects countless children, families, and adults.

Registration
Our 2024 tournament has passed, but please return to register and view further specifics for our next annual tournament! Occurring on June 28, 2024, this year’s event was a wild success thanks to our compassionate and generous community of supporters.
Next year, your registration form may be mailed, faxed, emailed, or electronically completed. We look forward to collaborating with you to help those in need!
Attire
Appropriate golf attire is required (shirts with collars and shoes must be worn at all times). Jeans, cut-offs, gym shorts, tank tops and t-shirts are not allowed. Golf shoes must be soft spiked. Athletic shoes or soft soles shoes may also be worn.

Silent Auction Donations
In addition to our efforts on the greens, we also hold an online silent auction ending the day of each year’s tournament. To donate an item come 2025, please contact communication@hcrs.org to inquire about donation opportunities!

Free parking is available at the clubhouse for all players.

How to Become a Player
When registration opens, you may sign up as a player or team in 4 ways:

Online: As the tournament approaches, we will activate our online registration form. Stay tuned!

By mail: Print out our registration form, complete all fields in full, and mail to Alice Bradeen at HCRS, 390 River Street, Springfield, VT 05156

By fax: Print out our registration form, complete all fields in full, and fax it to Alice Bradeen at (802) 886-4580.

By Personal Contact: Come time for our next tournament, we will update this section with appropriate contact information for registration.
Once we receive your paid registration, our team will send you a confirmation via email. In addition to the multitude of event activities we provide, each registered player will receive a gift of exciting swag, have the opportunity to bid on a variety of silent auction items, and be treated to a delicious luncheon and buffet dinner!
Prizes
There is a large window of opportunity for any supporter to win amazing prizes, regardless of golf skill level! In addition to our selection of prizes available to tournament winners, we also provide specialized category prizes, activity prizes, and have an incredible range of silent auction items up for grabs.
Participating in our balloon pop activity is one way to ensure you don’t leave empty handed. Another incredible offering by HCRS is our brand-new bundle package – purchase our bundle on the tournament date to have the most fun possible and score even more chances to win through a multitude of activities! 2025 bundle inclusions and pricing will be announced as our next tournament approaches.

Lunch Sponsor ($1,600)
Your organization’s name/logo will be on all day-of-event materials. Includes a hole sponsorship and registration for a foursome.
Gold Level Sponsor ($1,100)

Today’s Brattleboro Country Club is a stunning mix of the original golf course design from 1914 by Tom McNamara, a redesign from Wayne Stiles in 1930 and an expansion and some re-routing of play by Steve Durkee the end product is 18 unique holes of great golf, measuring up at 6,533 yds. from the tips (71.1, 126 slope), 6,073 from the regular tees (69.1/122), 5,051 from the forward tees (64.2/112 for men; 69.8/114 for women).

From North:
Take I-91 S to exit 3
At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Putney Rd for 2 miles.
Putney Rd turns slightly right and becomes Park Pl.
Keep right to continue on Linden St. for .8 miles.
Turn left onto Upper Dummerston Rd continue for .7 miles.
Turn left onto Senator Gannett Dr.
From South:
Take I-91 N to exit 2
Turn left onto VT-9 E/Western Ave for .5 miles
