Here’s what’s happening.

• Special presentation: from our Windham County Special Olympics Coordinator (Andy Davis) to discuss and answer questions about Special Olympics programs in Windham county.
• 1 mile walk through downtown Brattleboro
• Bar BQ lunch (with veggie and gluten free options)
• Live music with The Stockwell Brothers
• Raffle prizes
• New England Street Food Festival and Q for a Cause” fundraiser for Black Mountain Assisted Family Living
• Let’s hear from you finally, we want to hear from you. If you or anyone you know (self advocates, family members, friends, care providers, etc.) is inspired to speak for a few minutes (5-10) at this event about the value of an inclusive community, please let me (Jim Nicholson) know ASAP so that we can be sure to plan accordingly.

Here’s how you can be involved

• Register early for this FREE event: go to https://brattleborobuddywalk.org/ or complete the attached registration form. Everyone who registers early will receive a complimentary T-shirt (while supplies last) and a Bar BQ lunch voucher (veggie and gluten free option) and be eligible to win a number of different prizes.
• Start fundraising for or make a donation to Windham County Special Olympics As in the past this event will help raise awareness for individuals of all abilities as well as raise funds for Special Olympics programs in Windham County. • Volunteer. If you would like to help us set up, register participants, be a crossing guard, help with t-shirts or help clean up please let me know. All volunteers receive a complimentary t-shirt, raffle prize ticket and Bar BQ voucher.
