Integrated Mental Health & Substance Use Services to Address the Needs of the Whole Person
We offer integrated treatment programs designed to address the challenges faced by people with mental health issues and/or substance use issues in order to help them live more fulfilling lives.
Initial screening and assessment services are primarily accessed through our Open Access program, although HCRS does offer some community-based screenings and assessment when appropriate.
The assessment is an opportunity for you to meet with a trained clinician who will complete a comprehensive evaluation that looks at the scope of your needs and strengths as they pertain to mental health, substance use, physical health, social, employment, legal, safety issues, and “environmental needs” such as housing, transportation, budgeting, etc. The results of this evaluation are discussed with you and treatment recommendations are made; these recommendations may include services both within and outside of HCRS.
We offer a range of therapeutic services that may be office-based, community-based, or in home to address various mental health and substance use concerns. This includes: individual, group, family, and couples therapy, case management, and community supports.

My son’s [HCRS] therapist meets with him at his school. She is amazing. She has developed a strong bond with him in a short amount of time. It is clear she is invested and wants him to succeed and feel good. We are very grateful for her.

Being able to have appointments through Zoom has been a huge help. It makes it easier to keep appointments, cuts down on stress as I don’t have to worry about transportation or if I can afford gas for my car. It also helps with anxiety when the weather is bad as I don’t have to drive. It is also really easy to get in contact with your team. Everyone is very reachable by either phone or email…I feel like I can reach out to either our case manager or counselor at any time, which helps with making me feel very supported.
