Accessing Services for Potential New Clients
If you are looking for someone to talk with about life stressors, relationship problems, or possible mental health and/or substance use issues, please take the first step and contact one of our Access Navigators on one of our 3 toll-free access lines. Choose the number that is most conveniently located for you.
- Brattleboro area: (855) 220-9428
- Springfield/Bellows Falls area: (855) 220-9429
- Hartford area: (855) 220-9430
In most instances, we can see you the same day and, if you continue with HCRS services, usually the same professional who conducts the assessment will be the treating clinician.
Our Access Navigator will provide a safe place to talk about what is going on in your life, help you identify some strengths and resources to deal with your struggles, and may refer you to ongoing HCRS services or to other services provided in the community. Brief screening questions are asked to help determine the best course of action to help you solve the challenges you may be facing.
Our regular business hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. See the Contact Us page for office locations.

Being able to have appointments through Zoom has been a huge help. It makes it easier to keep appointments, cuts down on stress as I don’t have to worry about transportation or if I can afford gas for my car. It also helps with anxiety when the weather is bad as I don’t have to drive. It is also really easy to get in contact with your team. Everyone is very reachable by either phone or email…I feel like I can reach out to either our case manager or counselor at any time, which helps with making me feel very supported.
