Peer Support: Help from People Who’ve Been There

Sometimes, what you really need is to talk to someone who gets it. That’s where Peer Support comes in. Our trained Advocates share their own lived experiences to build trust and empower you through genuine connection. It’s all about working together, without judgment, to create a safe space for healing.

🗣️ What makes Peer Support different?
Unlike traditional therapy, Peer Support focuses on authentic relationships and shared growth. Our advocates don’t diagnose or treat—they listen, share, and collaborate with you to find a way forward.

“Our Peer Support services are built on the belief that you are the expert in your own life,” says Taryn Heon, HCRS Peer Support Advocate. “We’re here to co-learn and co-explore alongside you. Together, we can find hope and empowerment through shared experiences.”
