HCRS was named one of Vermont’s Best Places to Work for the second year in a row. Winners are chosen based on an in-depth confidential survey of staff covering all aspects of the employee experience, which contributes to approximately 80% of the agency’s evaluation. A comprehensive application was also completed by HCRS, providing the agency’s policies, practices, and workforce demographics, for approximately 20% of the total evaluation.
The Best Places to Work awards cover three categories (small, medium, and large) of Vermont businesses based on the number of employees. With more than 450 staff, HCRS’ received their award for the large business category.
“We were thrilled to receive this award again in 2022,” said Anne Bilodeau, Interim Co-Executive Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at HCRS. “This recognition illustrates the importance we place on staff engagement and the fact that we continually strive to improve the experience for our workforce.” HCRS offers a generous benefits package including unique options such as stipends for snow tires and CSAs, interest free loans for personal computers, and a free meditation app, just to name a few. The agency’s flexible work schedules and work from home options are two other benefits that contribute to employee satisfaction.
The final rankings for each category will be announced at a special awards ceremony on April 6.
