We’re excited to introduce Kristin Reifenrath as our new Director of Children, Youth, and Family Services here at HCRS! Kristin’s extensive background in social work and her dedication to helping vulnerable populations make her the perfect fit for this role.
Our Children, Youth, & Family division is all about supporting clients who are dealing with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Last year alone, we provided more than 89,000 hours of services to over 1,000 families in Windsor and Windham counties. We also supported 262 students in local schools, offering the care they need to thrive.
Kristin joined HCRS as a Clinical Consultant/Supervisor in 2023 and quickly made her mark with her expertise and passion for our mission. She’s deeply committed to ensuring that everyone has access to quality care and is driven by a desire to eliminate health disparities.
Kristin holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Andrews University and a Master’s in Social Work from Springfield College School of Social Work. With over 12 years of experience, she’s been a leader in integrated behavioral health services in Vermont and New Hampshire. Her work has focused on supporting youth with developmental disabilities and helping children facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
Our CEO, George Karabakakis, couldn’t be happier about Kristin stepping into this new role. “We’re thrilled to have Kristin as our new Director of Children, Youth, and Family Services. Her passion for advocating for those in need and her proven excellence make her an invaluable asset to our team. We’re confident that under her guidance, we’ll continue to make a profound impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.”
We’re looking forward to all the great things Kristin will bring to her new role and the positive changes she’ll help us make for our clients!
